Not interested in Friday Night Lights? *gasp*

Okay, okay, I have another rec. Have you watched Chuck? It's both dramatic and hilarious and Chuck just happens to be my favorite TV boyfriend since like ever! I don't have a specific community with episodes, but if you're desperate I have all the episodes.

Also, How I Met Your Mother is hilarious! You should watch from the beginning.

No, I haven't seen Chuck. May I ask what it's about? Is it a drama, funny, make you cry? :D

The premise is a bit out there, but it's about a guy who has all of the US spy secrets or something implanted in his brain, therefore making him a bit of a super computer and therefor invaluable to the US government. It involves the usually geeky best friend, the hot CIA agent that is assigned to protect him, a best friend who betrayed him, another bad ass agent, and some drama in the romance department. Overall, I enjoy it the most because Zachary Levi who plays Chuck is so fabulously funny and adorable in his role. It was definitely my favorite new show this year. And it's definitely a dramedy, but I definitely remember choking back the tears at least once.

I did try FNL but I got bored. I wrote a bit more in the comment below - I just can't be bothered with forcing myself to watch! I want to get hooked to a show. :) Sorry.

Shame on you for not liking Supernatural and Friday Night Lights....SPN especially though! *G*

So aside from that, you SHOULD be watching Chuck!!! VERY funny! He's sort of an accidental CIA/FBI agent. Comical, goofy, intelligent at times and it has Adam Baldwin in it!!!

Well, for two reasons. One - I'm a wimp and two - fandom has totally put me off SPN. I just can't be bothered with it. I know I can watch without fandom, but I find it easier to ignore if I can't understand some of their insame ratings!

I watched the first few eps of FNL and I'm sorry, but I was really bored. American football doesn't interest me at all - and it just didn't draw me. I'm sure if I was forced to carry on I might like it, but I want to watch for enjoyment, not force myself!

Two recs for Chuck, will have to give it a go! Thanks :)

I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm sure trying to watch a program based on a sport you don't have much of an understanding for like FNL would be difficult.

Now, I'm a total wimp to so you don't get a pass on not watching SPN for that! *G* I've sat with my hands over my eyes during more than one ep!!! But seriously, I don't get involved in fandom...learned my lesson during BtVS and AtS. People are crazy and I don't need them ruining a show for me!!! I will occasionally see what someone on my flist has to say about an ep but past that I stay away from everyone else! Not worth the headache!

And yay! Two recs for Chuck! It really is a funny show! I think you'll like it!

Yeah, exactly. Well I did watch an episode alone at night, and it scared me enough to turn it off, then I had to spend the rest of the night lying awake by myself, convinced of monsters and all sorts. So I'm probably a bigger wimp. ;)

That was in my not interested list. ;)

I watched it and found it terrible, but perhaps it gets better. Just doesn't interest me at all!

Arrested Development and House MD are awesome!
You'd love the first one if you liked Office )
And House is just classic.
I love Pushing Daisies also.

I've seen Arrested Development, actually! It's awesome.

I have seen a few House episodes and it does look good - but a little repetitive? He has some horrible disease, he does bad things then accidently finds the cure or something? That's the only thing putting me off. But I'm not against watching it on the television or anything! :)

Thanks for the recs.

well, it is a little bit repetitive sometimes... but only on the surface

the dialogues are still brilliant!

I'm going to be an annoying person and tell you to try BSG one more time, mostly because it's really the only show I'm into right now and I mostly think all other shows out there are pretty crap. :D

The miniseries is good for the backstory it sets up, but it can run a bit long. I think you should try watching the first episode, '33', and see if that hooks you in a bit more. ;)

I mean, if you want an OLD show that's no longer on the air, I would suggest Dead Like Me if you haven't tried it before. It's very excellent.

I have just downloaded the first ep! I am totally willing to carry on with it, I just wanted some new ideas. I'm about to watch it now, so if it sucks, I'll come back and blame you. :P

I'm just trying to remember what happened in the mini-series! Bombs.

I will check out Dead Like Me, thank you!

It shouldn't be a big problem if you don't remember details from the mini.

*evil laughter*

If you think it sucks, I will have to check your temperature. *G*

I hope you like Dead Like Me! I really think you will, you seem to have good taste in television. ;)

Have you tried Dexter? It's a fantastic show..well written, well-acted, multi-faceted characters, etc! You should watch the version that's on Showtime or DVD though (or torrent), not the watered down CBS version where they take out all the swearing and anything else that's not PG-13!
