Title: Taking Some Time.
Fandom: Charmed.
Pairing: Phoebe/Prue, 200 words.
*
Phoebe looked up when the front door slammed shut, the noise breaking her concentration. She could hear Prue muttering to herself as she made her way to the kitchen and got to her feet to pour her sister a cup of coffee, figuring it might help to put her in a better mood.
Prue's annoyance faded a little when Phoebe handed her the cup, and she took a seat at the table, glancing at the books Phoebe had been using to write her psychology essay.
"Bad day at the office?" Phoebe asked lightly, sitting down again opposite Prue.
"My newest client's a nightmare," Prue sighed, rubbing at her temples. "I lost my temper with him, finally, and Claire sent me home to 'take a few days off'."
"It doesn't sound good, no, but on the bright side the weather's gorgeous, so a few days off could be very relaxing."
"That's not really the point, Phoebe--"
"I know that, Prue."
Phoebe got up to refill her coffee cup and paused, lingering, leaning down to kiss Prue's cheek. "I could always keep you company."
Prue smiled, turning her head to kiss Phoebe back. "I'd like that."
"Uh-huh," Phoebe laughed, "Me too."
Title: Catching Up.

You run into her in Starbucks, for the first time in months.
She's alone and she's happy to see you, hugging you tightly despite the fact that you're holding up the queue. She asks if you have time to stay, to catch up, and even though you know you shouldn't, you say you do.
You ask after the kids as you wait for your drinks, and she produces pictures of both. She doesn't have one of Liam, though she used to, and you wonder why that is as you coo over how adorable they've become.
You talk about work for a while, discussing your current projects and the people you've worked with, but eventually the conversation turns to the past.
She tells you she still misses the show and, after a pause, that she misses you, and every feeling you've ever had for her, every feeling you thought you'd suppressed, crashes back with a vengeance.
You say you miss her too because you do, you have, ever since you left the set for the last time, and promise to stay in touch. She smiles then, sitting back to drink her coffee.
Lost in emotional chaos, you drink yours in silence.
Title: It's (Sometimes) Too Much.
Fandom: Grey's Anatomy.
Pairing: Izzie/Cristina.
*
They see each other all the time and Izzie thinks it might be too much. Cristina comes over all the time, to hang out with her, George and Meredith, and then they see each other at work and, sometimes, they'll all go for a drink together afterwards.
It's nice, sometimes, to know that Cristina's only a few rooms away, or a few floors at most, but sometimes she wants to miss her -- wants to have to wait, to feel the anticipation building as time ticks away and the moment creeps nearer.
Instead, she runs into Cristina in the hallway.
Title: Undercover Con.
Fandom: She Spies.
Pairing: Cassie/DD.
*
Jack tells you, with a lot of blushing and stuttering that you can't help but mischievously make worse, that you have to go undercover at a gay and lesbian holiday resort, and that you'll need to pick one of your team-mates to take with you as your girlfriend.
You pick DD without hesitating, partly because you'll be more comfortable running this con with her, partly because faking an attraction to DD won't be difficult, and he calls her to join you. Shane stays outside, looking puzzled and faintly concerned.
You smile in a way that means tell you later and don't worry, listening as Jack explains the job to DD. She agrees to it without hesitating, not that you expected anything else, and he tells you both to go and pack.
He begins explaining everything to Shane, including the role she'll be playing, while you and DD escape upstairs to your rooms. You pause at the top of the stairs, touching her arm to stop her moving away.
"Are you okay with this?"
"Of course," she smiles, mischief in her eyes. "Faking attraction to you won't be hard, Cassie."
You don't know what to say to that, but DD understands.
