Tea, C.S. Lewis, and the Mariners

Well, yesterday I had the wonderfull oportunity to sit and listen to an English prof speak on C.S. Lewis while I ate different types of scones and drank WONDERFULL Japanese green tea. I was very interested in reading more of his work so I headed off to the book store to buy Essential C.S. Lewis. It was very reasonably priced at $17.00 It's probably close to 1,000 pages. If you want to read Lewis but don't know where to start, I suggest the...uh...anthology?
I went to the Mariners game tonight. My dad has season tickets. They played the white sox...and lost! It was a good game, though. I got to eat some fresh roasted peanuts and GARLIC FRIES!! A little hint to all of you guys not familiar with Safeco Field...if you come over to watch a game, stop by the designated driver booth to get a ticket for a free medium pop from the concession stand....about a three dollar value! Also...get some garlic fries. They will make you stink terribly but taste oh so good.
I decided to go to Renton Assemblies of God tomorrow...by the suggestion of Desiree.
I really appreciate everything that girl..uh..woman? has done for me over the years...I don't really have time to really get into detail, but lately it has been getting plugged into people here at Northwest. She may even find a place for me to live that is closer to campus!!
On a side note...I found Selina (the girl who may have had issues praying... =)) She remembered who I was. I also ran into Ashley Aberlie...a girl that went to IKE. I didn't know that she was going to school at NU.
I really love NU. It's like the highschool I always wanted....wierd...
