Gov. Perry said that the government should not dispense hop....well FUCK YOU, Rick Perry.
I may be a dreamer, but government can be a place for people to come together. For people to actually help its people evolve and move forward into a better place for all. Gov't cannot dispense hope? Tell that to the founding fathers who came together after our country was formed to write the constition, after realizing the system in place was not working.
tell that to Lincoln. Tell that to both Teddy and Franklin Roosevelt. Tell that to Polk or Wilson, or even JFK.
But, Perry is right, sort of. With the people in power now, there is NO hope to dispense.
