Song: La Vie Boheme - RENT
Prompt: Free
There was something liberating about going out as if nothing changed. As if he was still anonymous enough to do such frivolous things as going out to eat without being recognized. The truth was, Adam wasn't anonymous, and chances were, he never would be again.
Still, that didn't mean he was going to stop living his life. He was still a free man, with a million options and choices to make. Adam took a seat with most of his band and dancers and glanced at the menu.
"Dude, what should we get? I can't even afford water..." Allison muttered.
"You're fine, I'll take care of it," Adam reassured.
There were some things that didn't change, whether it was five years ago or six months ago.
"You don't have to do that," Allison objected. "I'm fine. I can live poor."
"Shut up and order some real food, girl," Adam reprimanded smiling. "You lose anymore weight and I'm gonna be pissed."
Allison rolled her eyes, but ordered a large piece of vanilla bean cheesecake with raspberry sauce, and a burger to follow.
"What if we just got up and started dancing on these tables?" Sasha asked mischievously. "Think we'd get in trouble?"
"Try it and find out," Adam encouraged and grinned.
But they sat still instead, visiting, and enjoying a night to themselves.
