Adam really loved this song. He stood in the booth, headphones on, lyrics in front of him, and let loose. He was already imagining the kinds of performances he could put on with a song like this.
The point wasn't to intentionally offend people. (Okay, sometimes it was.) He just loved over-the-top performances. He sang the lyrics carefully and correctly, knowing that someday soon, he could have free reign as far as interpretation.
It made him think of so many things. Mostly, all the amazing female acts that were out now, and it had a definite Britney Spears aspect that Adam enjoyed.
All that, and he couldn't have written a better track that summed up what he was doing and why he was there.
"Okay, great," a voice outside the booth said.
"First single and album title. Done and done," Adam said back with a smile.
