Mako/Korra

Frustrated with each other. They both know they're attracted but one refuses to go ahead because they don't think it'd be a good idea (the other just thinks they're scared). I wouldn't be averse to this ending with a release~ of sexual tension

Five Good Minutes - Pt. 1 anonymous March 28 2012, 07:02:16 UTC
Mako was being quieter than usual, and Korra was extremely confused; she didn't know what to think with him anymore at all. One minute he liked her, even seemed kind of mellow, the next he couldn't be in the same room with her without stalking out after a few moments. Korra seldom had difficulty finding the resolve to confront a problem head on, but Mako was a hard target ( ... )

Mako seemed to be referring to the fact that he was a pauper who fought with his bending for prize money and that she was the Avatar. He didn't seem to get how amazing he was as a bender - and she'd met a lot of benders while she was training in the south - nor just how attracted she was to him. It wasn't like she was from a rich family or anything either, just like Mako she had a combination of luck and skill behind what little she could call her own. What did the Avatar really have besides the White Lotus constantly breathing down her neck and a mountain of responsibilities ( ... )

He narrowed his eyes at her and put his long-fingered hand over the one she had resting on his shoulder. He didn't pluck her hand off, however. “And what then? You're not going to be able to stick around once you have to start doing all your Avatar... stuff. Pro-bending is just a game for you. Other than Bolin, it's all I've got ( ... )

Your icon, in turn, could be used to describe your comment :P

Pff, that be so like him.

For some reason, I have the sudden urge to draw America (and what's-his-face) riding on Appa...

... :|

Do it.
CLASSIFY ALL THE (Hetalia) COUNTRIES AS BENDERS/NON-BENDERS/ON AMON'S SIDE? WUT

Okay idk, but with that, I have a strange urge to do something like that *u* Like, which element they would bend (or not) based on their personality~ Canada (whoever that is) would totally be like an Airbender, for example :3

I shall do it then! To the whatever-I-feel-like-using-to-draw-at-the-moment!

*Batmobile riff*

As for the countries being benders, yes, that would be awesome, if a bit dangerous. God help you if Russia's a bender of any sort (he'd probably be a waterbender. *shivers*) Also who'd be the Avatar? Tibet? 'CAUSE THAT WOULD BE THE COOLEST THING TO EVER GRACE THE PLANET.

As for what's-his-face-Canada-person, I'd imagine him more as a waterbender, if only because it would come in very handy where he lives (trust me. I know.). Besides, Italy has Airbender written all over him (personnality-wise). Waaaait, if it's personnality wise, would that make Germany a Firebender--okay I just suddenly realised handing over these kind of powers to countries is a horrible idea. Or an incredibly funny one.
Imma go with the latter. Also, France should be an Earthbender just because God/the Universe/a small purple hamster/whatever hates him just that much. That, or a Firebender, so that the other countries can make tasteless gay jokes at his expense. And ( ... )

Your point on that Canada person makes sense, as well~ (Although, I think, personality-wise, he's rather airbender-like? /my first impression)

LOL GERMANY AS A FIREBENDER OMG /dying
JUST IMAGINE WHEN HE GETS MAD AT EVERYONE FIGHTING AND TELLS THEM ALL TO SHUT UP LOOOOOOOOOL

(Also Tibet = Avatar is the best. It could also explain why we don't see him much, canon-wise... ;D But Tibet could also work as like, the greatest peaceful dude or whatever okay idk i just lost my train of thought)

Also omg that crossover idea... (dang, the fire nation during that time? Or will it be like the "my boss is a crazy guy" thing?) /approves

America/Yue? Do tell me more about this, I'd like to hear more about this (canon) ship, LOL. It sounds interesting and I don't have a particular ship for America soooooooo ;D

Jun was his eldest child. She lived in the caves near Omashu, where, while in the midst of a romantic meeting, her two namesakes found her wandering with an equally small badgermole. As soon as Shu was killed in the war between his and Oma's two villages, Chen took Jun in as his own. She grew quickly, reaching adulthood within 20 years-very fast for a nation-tan ( ... )

Mushi was somewhat of a surprise to everyone. At some point or another, some travelers decided to settle in the Great Divide and make lives there. It took less than five years for Mushi to appear, and he grew quickly. His arms and legs were strong from constant climbing, and knew how to get various resources from the most unlikely places. He and his older brother Chun got along well for the latter reason, and often shared tips ( ... )
