I overall enjoyed it, in spite of the blatant fridging of Irene followed by twenty minutes of wondering if Sherlock thought she had pulled a runner or if he was just that much of a callous fucker. Sim and Mary were fun, the fanservice is every bit as blatant as you expect, and Moriarty creeped the living be-fuck out of me as a villain. If I understand correctly, though, Sherlock's brother was aware of Moriarty's plan? So why was he sitting beside Mary at the funeral rather than being punched repeatedly?
