I still can't believe she's gone. It's going to take me awhile to get used to not talking to her, to not seeing her sign her comments with hugs and love...
When I first met Megan, I didn't think we were going to make it as friends. She was just so.... passionate about everything. And I didn't help matters either. I can be very... passionate also. We had these amazingly long conversations both public and in private. We talked about everything, from religion, the death penalty, to fandom and everything in between, there wasn't anything we couldn't talk about, nothing was ever taboo(even some of the things that should have been).
And I'm not sure we ever really agreed. Fandom wise we loved different characters, pairings(she literally hated two of my favorite characters and I won't even mention the pairings). In real life we were even further apart. She was a lot more forgiving then I will ever be.
But it was our differences that actually brought us together. We were two very different people who somehow forged a lasting friendship. Even though she is gone from this world she will always be my friend.
