Thank you.
Your lovely comment is a huge relief - I swore off drabbles after a particularly bad experience and this my first attempt since. You have no idea how much I was shaking when I opened your e-mail ;)

Nothing to worry about. Tricky length, drabbles. This is like a prose poem, which works really well. I really like the way you've handled this. The idea is great, but the actual practise is what impressed me most.
Oh my dear, Jo. This is wonderful. Going from one extreme to another, utterly Ron and Draco...perfect. I love your writing and it makes me smile when I see it...thank you, thank you for writing this. Loved it!

Fight fight fight
The chant echoes around the hallway. The crowd gathers, taking up the call.
Fight fight fight.
They’re use to this. This is familiar.
Panting, punching, bruising. Blood splatters onto his fist. Pale skin is stained beneath him. White hair spread out on dark walnut.
Fight fight fight.
Purple mottled skin, nail scarred wrists.
And there, curled deep down in his belly. Warm anticipation.
Later. Away from the crowd. Pillowed in silk.
New, and infinitely more dear. Blissfully terrifying and too unknown.
Harder harder harder.
Pale skin, neck stained purple.
Whispers, gasped into quiet places.
Fight fight fight.
