1. I don't get how people are comfortable with Junno. Junno is so hard. Uhm. pun NOT intended.
2. I wrote Jin entirely, and wanted Koki in the fic, just as it turned out, my co-writer ended up thinking of what he'd have to say, so ;D
5. Thanks for explaining ♥ This might actually also be related to how much, especially when writing for someone else, I think of motives and inner thought process of the characters. Like I have to know why exactly they are doing this, to the point my meta on fics is (if written in emails to for example my beta) as long if not much, much longer than my fics. Like idek how many people thought about why the baby's name is boy's name, but for me it wasn't just dragon-Ueda-Ryuu thing, I had another motivation there too, even if I didn't spell it out. So then maybe, the parts I do spell out come out straightforward. Like for me it is enough we don't know what one of them thinks, the person who's POV I'm using, I want for their motives to be understood (mostly). That and my mind needs structure and logic to be there. Also, lol again the dedication on reading sign ups
6. Ah it's just the fandom prejudice ways sometimes get to me. LOL at excluding everyone from the sign ups again. BUT yes, it only emphasize how often I end up writing sex because people want to read but not write it (but then it isn't always like that, so ...). Also thanks ♥ I'm glad the meaning of the scene got through.
Ahahahaha real life experience. I've never been pregnant ;D. To be fair, my brother was born when I was almost 16 (totally an inspiration for the bathtub scene, I am so shameless). My best friend is pregnant at the moment (I didn't even realize how that is a bit ironic lol), though I don't see her often enough since she lives elsewhere, and I do work for a cosmetics company, which by default means almost exclusively female collective, which in turn means tons of pregnancies and tiny kids (and frequent talks of both). But I also researched, as in I wanted to make sure I got the moths right and didn't move things too back or forward and such. I wouldn't write it based on observation only, because I wanted to make sure it's realistic. TBQH pregnancy is one of the easier things to research. When I wrote kattun as thieves stealing from love hotels a few years back I ended up reading a book and an academic paper on love hotels, rofl. This felt much more familiar.

1. I KNOW. but for the longest time, I felt the same about Ueda too. I feel that Junno is too optimistic to be conflicted for long which makes plotting fic from his pov tricky, especially if it's more on the angstier/drama side. It's easier to write him as the pacifier.
5. Like idek how many people thought about why the baby's name is boy's name, but for me it wasn't just dragon-Ueda-Ryuu thing - !!! okay yes! it had to do with Nakamaru preferring a boy, wasn't it? and while Kame didn't have a preference himself, he cared enough about Nakamaru's wants to want one for him as well. <3 That and my mind needs structure and logic to be there - lol me too omg; it likely drove my DOA partners up the wall.
6. ooooh that's interesting; I always thought it was the other way around, that fandom preferred higher rating fics. I've always assumed that people who want to read sex but not write it is mainly because they don't know how to or feel embarrassed writing about man bits lol. but hmmmm, I think I can see it being the other way around too. It's not that including smut makes the writing quality of the fic automatically poor or anything; I guess people are just so used to sex being used as a fallback, especially in slash fandoms, that it becomes expected which then leads to it becoming tired and over exhausted. But yeah, same thing goes on with gen fic; everyone wants it but hardly anyone writes it.
fhdjksfhdskj wow at the love hotel research. It always amazes me when writers go the extra mile to make everything as realistic as possible. <3 and lol, I did believe the fic had to have been written by someone who had experienced pregnancy until Joo pointed out 'dude, they could have just researched' and I was stunned because hfdsjk who would take the time to infuse logic into something as cracky as mpreg?! like, you could have made everything up and it would have been just as plausible, but you didn't take the shortcut. I find that really great. probably why I liked the fic so much. <3<3<3
