OKAY ANON HI.

I'm tackling this in parts because I know I have more than one comment's worth of comments, and because I have relatives visiting but I do NOT want to keep you in suspense about how I feel about this fic. First things first, from the opening section I love it.

We start in with Nakamaru's boring every-day life. Argyle (OFC), average job, average life...

and then you hit me with this:

Approximately fifteen minutes later, his first patient arrives as he always does, angling through the door so his wings don't get caught.

"Again?"

Annnnnnd I'm preparing myself to laugh until I die. The comedic timing there was simply... well, amazing. I really just went O.O and YES. Yes, all of this.

In his darkest hours, Nakamaru weeps for his poor teeth. CLUTCHING MY STOMACH. OMG NAKAMARU WOULD.

One would think a troll would know how to move around bridges, but not Akanishi. He was always getting stuck, choosing the smallest bridges to hide under because they felt 'cozier' and somehow, Nakamaru had ended up being his saviour. ( ... )

"I don't know, sensei," Kame answers woefully, summoning a giant pout. "That was the last time I was able to retract them. They're always sticking out and now I have a lisp. And my lip hurts."

"This is strange. I've never had a case like this before. The few vampires I've helped previously had the opposite problem; they couldn't elongate."

"Oh, I can elongate just fine," Kame replies with a smirk that soars meters above Nakamaru's head.

DENTIST SKIT. PERVY SEX JOKES. WEEPING. WEEEEEPING. T___T <3 <3 I love all of it so much.

Oh oh! Here's where I confess to not wanting to copy and paste every line of Nakame dialogue, because it's all flawless and REALLY, how could it be more flawless? What are you doing. With your flawlessness. I love how Kame is so amazed with Maru's naivety, his guile... it's so... sweet? wonderful? And how Nakamaru is so giving that he doesn't even realize he's one of a kind.

The characterization is... yummy. Yes. Yummy.

The procedure ends up taking more than an hour and Nakamaru has to reschedule his ( ... )

i just realized i've been commenting with my personal LJ and not my 'Maayacola' LJ but hello, we are one and the same.

Nakamaru drops the pen and stands up. Cleaning seems like the easier task at the moment and he needs to move, to do something other than tap his pen with the passing of each second. He grabs a paper towel and begins to wipe down the counter, scrubbing hard at a dollop of dried toothpaste.

His eyes repeatedly flit to the round, black-framed clock hanging above the doorframe for the entire hour that Kame doesn't appear. And then it's time to close. He locks the door of the clinic and walks home, a mass of guilt snowballing in his gut, growing larger with every step.

WAAAH AWESOME FEELINGS. they are so dumb but i love them both very very much how cute is all of this? answer= very.

There's a shove at his lower back and Nakamaru yelps, stumbling into a large room with red, velvet curtains draped across the walls. For a moment, he thinks he's standing in a jewelry box ( ... )

i c myself mentioned. i'm sorry if i uhm....made certain comments that made you predisposed to see me whenever nakamaru is called a certain way..... OTL
