"You shouldn't have," Lance whispered as he looked down in to the opened pink box. He couldn't help himself and smiled at the little trinket. He lightly stroked it with his right index finger.

"I wanted to. It's your birthday," Zac tried to smile while biting down on his bottom lip. He watched Lance's reaction and hoped for the best.

"It's beautiful and perfect, but..." Lance didn't know how to say it.

"It's just like your charms, but the pendent goes on your neck," Zac reach out and pulled on Lance's wrist brining up the charm bracelet to jingle the charms. "So, it's closer to your heart."

"But... every charm came from someone I've... well, you know," Lance blushed at the number of charms he'd collected since Justin gave him his first one.

"I know," Zac smirked when his gaze locked on to Lance's green eyes.

"But we haven't..." Lance trailed off with a hint of disappointment.

"Well, that's easy to fix," Zac stated as he started to remove his shirt.
