Lex Luthor has two left feet.
It’s bad enough he has to learn to line dance for the school’s Country Ball.
It’s worse that Clark Kent is teaching him.
"OK, let’s go slow," Clark is trying to show Lex, as they practice (in secret, to protect Lex’s ego) in the Kent’s barn. "Right foot, turn, stomp with the left, right foot back, left foot back..."
Clark the "farm boy" moves with so much more grace and ease than his more privilaged classmate. Lex stumbles, steps on Clark’s toes accidentally, but the "farm boy" isn’t ready to give up.
They practice, over and over again. Eventually, they get a rhythm going, and Lex’s feet behave the way they should. They dance, side by side, each matching each other step for step.
The good run of luck runs out, as Lex accidentally hooks his foot behind Clark’s knee, and both boys tumble onto a pile of hay.
Lex is aggravated. Clark’s laughter isn’t helping matters.
"What’s so funny?" Lex demands.
Clark just laughs helplessly. Lex tosses some hay in Clark’s face, and the two boys have a short hay-fight before both dissolve into fits of hysterical laughter.
