Fandom: Crossover between Joan of Arcadia and Dead Like Me.

Pairing/Characters: Joan from JoA, and George from DLM. Gen or femslash is fine.

Situation: Snark! There can be allusions to their jobs, but no outright proclamation that: "I talk to God!" "Neat! I'm a soul reaper!"

I might contemplate writing this, but it's been ages (as in, two years + ) since I saw either of these shows. I can't remember, but wasn't there something about normal people not being able to see the Reapers, or was that just my imagination?

Normal people aren't supposed to be able to see a Reaper's true appearance, and they obviously aren't supposed to know that Reapers exist. That said, normal people do interact with Reapers in normal situations--note George's job at Happy Times, for instance.
