Oh, ♥! The fox spirits were one of my favorite creatures in Avatar, and I love the quiet feel to this story.

I love foxes and fox legends, so I couldn't resist.

Iné is an old word for 'rice' - the spirit Inari (in Japan) has that as part of its name. Inari is the spirit of wealth and fortune (well, first, it was the spirit of harvests), and foxes are often its messengers ^^ So I drew a parallel there.
