[REQUEST] Harry Potter: Hagrid

Character: Rubeus Hagrid
Situation: So I was rereading HP2 and HP3 the other day and I was thinking, if Hagrid cleared his name, why didn't he do something like go back to school? He always seems to be embarrassed about not graduating, and if Squibs have correspondence courses, surely there's other ways to get an education....
But I'm terrible at writing Hagrid, so here's my request: I'd like to see Hagrid become a full, legal wizard. Whether he gets his wizardly GED, goes to night school, etc. is up to you, along with any background pairings.
