Standing up, Ryan stretched and said, voice tired, "Okay you two, enough. Team USA will beat both Canada and the Czech republic- can we go to bed?"
Tomas turned his attention away from Brooks, ready to protest but looked at his smiling boyfriend, camera in hand, bags under his eyes. "Okay, my love... delusional as you may be."
Brooks snorted and then muttered something about dragging Greenie away from his card game. Ryan reached his hand out, Tomas' slipping into it. Pulling him up, Ryan kissed him lightly on the lips. "Think they like me?" He said, referring to the cabin full of Caps players.
"I know they do," Tomas said, "You worry too much."
"I was born this way."
Tomas rolled his eyes, pulling Ryan through the log cabin. "Mmm I still love you."
"Love you too." Ryan whispered, "Where are we going?"
"Bed time stories." Tomas said, turning and leading the way.
Ryan's grin grew, walking by the fireplace, the other men leaving them alone. Walking down the hall, Ryan and Tomas walked in a comfortable silence, hands still clutched together. Tomas opened the bedroom door and said, "What story tonight, Ryan?"
Pausing, Ryan said, "Wait... you're really going to read me a story?"
The impatient stance of his lover was all the answer Ryan needed. "Robin Hood." He answered.
Tomas raised an eyebrow, "Robin hood?"
Ryan looked at his feet, "Always loved Robin Hood. Daring adventures, living in complete freedom from that pesky Sheriff..."
Tomas rolled his eyes and said softly, "And what of love?"
Ryan pulled Tomas closer, kissing him lightly on the lips, "Maid Marion of course."
"You won't look so good in dress, Ryan..." Tomas said, smirking.
"You're Maid Marion, I'm Robin Hood." Ryan protested.
Tomas giggled and brought their faces close together, noses touching, "No Robin Hood. How about... greatest love story of all?"
"What? You and Hockey?" Ryan teased.
"Romeo and Juliet." Tomas whispered, ignoring the joke.
Ryan sat down on the bed, pulling Tomas with him. "That might not work... They die in the end."
Tomas bit his lip and said, "Then we don't have much time. Quickly... shirt off."
Ryan laughed out loud, and obliged.
