That was cute. :D Made me squee in my now-non-existant voice that has died. :D

Steve gave Ryan a look and reached over, taking the goalie’s coffee. He smirked and took a sip, licking his lips. Ryan followed Steve’s actions with his eyes, his mouth opening slightly. Steve let out a satisfied sigh. “This is good coffee.”

Ryan’s eyes lowered into slits and he grabbed it back. “My good coffee." <---- Awesomely cute! ♥

For some odd reason, I can't...see them together. I can't. It's my bias Soup/Miller that keeps me from seeing them together...but I'm sure I'll get used to it. D: It's just...Soup and Miller were THE miller/? OTP. It's hard to get used to someone else with him. This is not your fault, though. Your writing is superb, it's just hard to adjust, y'know?

Yeah. I ranted. WUT NOAW.

yeah, its hard to see Ryan with someone else, especially when the only Miller fic I've written is a giant epic soupy/ryan one.

It's only the first chapter, and hopefully i'll convert you.

Actually, the other day, i was thinking about different pairings and for the caps and the sabres, i have one character that is interchangeable pairing wise. I can fit them with anyone - thats Ryan Miller and olie Kolzig.

Yeah, it kind of is, but the second part converted me. Far too cute to pass up. Besides, it's not every day you see Bear and Millsy together.

Will you write some smut between these two?

I can't fit Kolzy with anyone except...oh, man, probably Vechki and I've been debating him and Biron together. It was fun doing a Kari Lehtonen/Marin Biron pairing. And Ryan? Ryan...I've read him with Thomas, and written him with Maxim, but it doesn't quite work. Ryan's too serious to be paired with anyone much younger. Sekera, Campbell, Goose, and Bernier work well - anyone like Derek, Thomas, Maxim, or Tim Connolly: not so much.

yeah Ryan to me is actually Daniel Briere's. It was weird to write a Soupy fic, and it was meant as a challenge.

I'll write smut, sure, but they've gotta work for it. I just wrote a plot twist and now i'm trying to figure out how to undo said twist. Or at least work it in. It came out of nowhere.

I...don't like Briere-eh, but once upon a time --- originally --- I'd written them together and then had Danny cheat on Ryan with Drury and Ryan got the short end of the stick there and...it didn't work out. xP

i'm feeling more confident with my smut writing. I read that fic! the one with briere and the triangle... and Roy and Vanek...

As for Briere, he was my first true hockey love. I've liked players for a long time (matt barnaby, Modano, etc) but Briere just gave me a reason to tune in. Then i thought he was a big gay man with my goalie.

I'll get to the smut. I tease though, in the story. i'll post more soon.

He was my second one, Dominik Hasek was my first when I was 4 but once I liked Miller, I really started to dislike him. He wasn't worth 5 million, and he definitely isn't worth 10. If he was a two way player, I would've liked him a lot better. Did you know he has a -24?

Teasing. :P I don't mind, as long as there's scraplets of Bear/Millsy in there somewhere. :) AND YAY! MORE! :D

Hasek is on my shitlist, from when he left buffalo and dissed my beautiful city.

but Danny is a simple, simple man. I think he was worth 5-6 mil. I hate how we screwed that up. but I'm a briere girl. I wore my briere shirt the other day, actually. Hehe...so no matter WHAT you say (and its +24! he has a +24), i will always love my danny. My little (and i mean little, the man is short) french canadian.

I don't like him anymore. Besides, too much sex, and he dips out because his groin.

I'm more a Chris Drury girl then a Briere girl, and I think I always will be. (it's -25 the last time I checked the stats! :P) And his shortness - I can relate. 5'3" myself...and French Canadians are awesome. I wish I was one.
