Title: I Envy a Sin
Author: Yaoilover S
Fandom: Eyeyshield 21
Rating: Pg 13 for Hiruma's sailor mouth XD
Summary: Sena thinks about how Hiruma is never afraid of anything and now wants to be brave as him
Author’s notes: I was reading Eyeshield 21 when this came
subject was posted so I decided to do this instead of death note (I
know, what a loss...) The title just means that Sena envies Hiruma (the
sin because the way he acts) This is somewhat of a spoiler to the 4th
volume and episode...8? But it only mentions what team they're playing
against.
I envy you
Sena walked out the locker room while trying to adjust his helmet.
The football team has to train for their next game that's in a few
days. 'I think we're playing against the Taiyou Sphinx' the boy
thought as he walked to the training field. Just as he set foot on the
field, bullets went flying to his feet. “Gahhhh!” Sena yelled as he ran
away.
“What the fuck took you so long?” Hiruma yelled as he took out his
air rifle 308B. “Now you’re running 20 laps instead of 18!” he ordered
as he pulled the trigger.
Sena ran away in fear as the bullets followed him around the track. ‘Hiruma is so scary!’
He ran faster as a bullet whizzed by his head. ‘But yet he’s always straight forward,’
You do things I've never done
On his tenth lap, Hiruma decided to let Cerberus out after shooting
a bone in his helmet. “Faster you fucking shrimp! We can’t beat those
damn Egyptians if you keep running that slow!”
“YES SIR!” Sena yelled as he passed the white line for the seventeenth time…
Collapsing on the white line with Cerberus chewing his helmet, Sena looked up to see Hiruma shooting the defense.
“Here you go,” said a person with a water bottle.
Sena looked up to see Mamori smiling down at him with a cold water
bottle. Sena took the bottle and bowed 'thank you' before he stood up
and quickly walked to the nurse to detached Cerberus.
You're somewhat special
Sena walked out of the showers with a major headache 'Ah, Cerberus really bit me hard this time'
he whined to himself as he rubbed his head and walked to his locker. As
he put on his shirt, the door busted open and smoke exploded in. Sena
yelped and jumped on a near by chair. Hiruma stepped in the room with a
gas mask on. “Hey! Whoever is in here better get the fuck out!" he
warned as he threw an item on the floor. "If you don't then you'll get
a good whiff of tear gas,"
Sena quickly ran out the bathroom, ignoring the fact that he haves no pants on.
But you're nothing but trouble
"I wonder why Hiruma is so violent," Sena said as he walked down the
street, ignoring the laughed and whistles from behind (note that he
still doesn't have his pants on).
"Hah! That's like asking why there isn’t a banana flavored cake," Monta answered.
Sena scratched his head, "But Monta, there is such a thing-"
"Then why are we here! Let's go to the bakery!" he yelled as he grabbed Sena's arm and ran down the street.
"Monta! The bakery is the other way!"
You're brave but in a wrong way
Monta and Sena were sitting in front of the bakery shop eating their treats. "So you were saying about Hiruma?"
Sena took a small bite of his cream pie before he answered. "Well
it's just that we don't see Hiruma scared or nervous about anything.
He's always straightforward and commanding. A total opposite of me..."
"So? What's the point?" Monta asked as he took a big bite of his cake.
Sena turned to his friend, "The point is to see how I can be like that!"
Monta chocked on his food and froze in his seat. "Monta!" Sena
yelled as he took his milk and poured it down the boy's throat. Monta
coughed as he turned to Sena "YOU WANT TO BE A HOMICIDAL DEMON!"
So is it bad to envy you?
Sena flinched before he shook his head. "No, I mean to be brave as him!"
Monta blinked before he smiled brightly. "Maybe you should just think how he thinks...just take out the violence,"
Sena nodded before he turned back to his cake. 'Think what he thinks...what does he think? Maybe I should ask him'
After saying goodbye to Monta, Sena walked back to the school to see
Hiruma ordering the art class to put up some posters while chewing on
his sugar free gum. "Um Hiruma," Sena called quietly as he tapped the
quarter back's shoulder.
"What is it shrimp?" the boy asked as he turned to Sena.
Sena blood became cold, "um...I-I, well you see..."
"What! I don't have all day pipsqueak," Hiruma growled as he put more bullets in his revolver
"Um I..." Sena sighed before he looked at Hiruma with determined eyes, "I WANT TO KNOW HOW I CAN BE BRAVE LIKE YOU!"
Hiruma eyes widened before he kicked Sena’s head as he put his gun
over his shoulder, "That’s a stupid question," he said as he popped a
bubble.
"But, I really want to know," Sena said as he looked away, hiding the blush that covered his face.
The things you do encourage me
Hiruma looked at Sena before he slouched and walked away, "Follow me,"
"Huh?" Sena tilted his head as he looked at the blonde. When he saw
the barrel of Hiruma's gun at his head, he quickly ducked before the
bullets were fired. The art screamed and jumped out of the way.
"Don't slack off you damn brush pushers!" the boy yelled as he turned off the safety on his handgun.
The kids quickly turned back to the posters.
Sena gulped at the sight before he followed Hiruma to the football field.
But yet I never do the things you do
Hiruma took a seat on the bleachers and took out a piece of gum. "So
what do you need me to do?" he asked as he spat out his flavorless gum.
"Um…I want to know how I can be brave like you," Sena said as he avoided Hiruma's eyes.
Hiruma popped the new gum in his mouth, "You're Eyeshield 21, the
fearless runner with the golden legs, why the hell would you want me to
show you how to be brave?"
"Hiruma, you're the one who made up that lie about me," Sena whispered.
"So? It made people want to be like you," the boy said as he crossed his legs. "So why do this pointless shit?"
Sena bit his bottom lip. "I...I want to be brave so that I can face bullies,"
Hiruma looked at Sena with a grim face, "I already got the fucking
huh-huh brothers to stop bothering you? Who the fuck do I need to take
care of now?" he growled as he put his head on his hand.
Sena shook his head, "There’s no one now but I know there'll be more,"
"And when they come, I'll get rid of their asses," Hiruma said in an impatient tone.
I feel as if I envy a sin
Sena bowed his head, 'What's the use, he won’t budge...' He
sat down next to the blonde and sighed. Putting his head on his hands,
Sena remembered the times when Hiruma shows his evil face when he haves
a plan or when he keeps a straight face when the other teams are
winning. The small boy gave a small smile at the memory before he felt
something on his head.
His face was turned to the eyes of the quarterback. "What the hell is so funny?"
'But I wasn't laughing...' Sena thought to himself as his body started shaking, "Um...I was just thinking Hiruma-san."
"Thinking about what?" he asked as he push their noses together, eyes full of annoyance and blood lust.
"Um...you." Sena whispered as he tried to look away.
Hiruma sighed angrily as he let go of Sena’s small head. "Fine,"
"Huh?" Sena said dumbly as he looked up at the taller teen.
"I'll tell you something that you need to know," Hiruma said as he stood up.
So will I end up as a sin one day?
"Really?" Sena said as he stood up. "You're going to tell me about how to become brave?"
"No," the quarterback said when he sat down to blow a bubble.
"Ah! Why not?" Sena wined as he slumped down.
"Because you never teach someone to be brave you stupid ass."
"Then how did you become brave?" Sena asked. Just then, he felt a
cold sensation in his body and blinked a few times. When he opened his
eyes, he looked at Hiruma who was laughing with his teeth and eyes
shinning brightly.
"It's easy..." the blonde started as the clouds gathered together to
block out the sun. “I am a DEMON!" he laughed loudly as he took out a
machine gun and pointed it at Sena.
"Ahhhhhhhh!" Sena cried as he ducked before the bullets were fired.
"Ya-ha! Demon bats are NEVER scared!" he yelled as he started shooting at random places.
"I wish I never asked..." Sena said as he quickly crawled away from the scene.
Either way I know that someday...
"I should've stayed to hear what he was talking about earlier," Sena sighed as he slowly walked home.
He stopped in front of his mail box to see if there’s any mail, when he opened the small door, a gun popped out.
"Huh?" Sena looked at the gun before he saw a note on the side.
'Why need courage when you have a gun?
‘Yaha!'
Sena raised an eyebrow at the paper before he crumbled it up and
walked inside of his house. He gave his mom a small greeting before he
headed to his room. He lay on his bed and closed his eyes.
Possibly
Just then an idea jolted to his mind. He then quickly got up and ran to the door. ‘Of course!’
“Sena, where are you going?” Sena’s mother asked as she looked at her son put on his shoes
“I forgot something, please leave dinner out for me,” he said before
he ran out. Dashing down the street Sena turned corners and stoplights
getting closer and closer to his destination. ‘I didn’t need Hiruma to teach me how to be brave,’
he thought to him self as he slid down a railing. ‘I can become brave by training long and hard!’ skating his feet on the concrete, Sena stared at his goal. ‘Then soon I can be stronger and braver then anyone, even Shin and Hiruma-san, just you wait!’
I might be as brave as you
