Is there going to be more of this? Because now I'm super intrigued about the mystery of Charley's blood. And by how these two are--by the end at least--almost kinda working together.

Even if you don't continue, this was a fascinating look at how the movie could have turned out. You've done this prompt so much justice. (Plus, your Charley and your Jerry voices are so wonderfully spot-on.)

Is there any bribe (souls, firstborns, virgins, etc.) that I can offer to something so you will have time/inspiration? Seeing the slow not-quite-taming of Jerry so he's all Charley's would be so fun. I'm glad I got to read this much though, even if you can't write more of this.

Hi! This story is a real huge food for my Jerry/Charlie addiction!^^ I liked the way, even without planning it, that Charlie ended up taming Jerry, somewhat. I think by the ending, Jerry is very much falling for Charlie, and this will make him face a much unlikely situation, to care for someone, and to have to fight hard to protect this someone he cares, and not only because of 'special' blood, butr because, deep inside, he is bonding to Charlie.
On Charlie's part, he might care for Jerry too while fighting to keep alive, maybe even love him, who knows. On his blood being different, there are so many possibilities... maybe even something that has nothing to do with his father... or his father being a creature of the night, much as the vampires!
Thing is, this is a very good writing work (you do write well), and keep my fingers crossed for reading more of it someday!^^

Ahh, this is good. This is my first Fright Night fic. I'm a little worried I might not be able to find anything else as satisfying.

I'm curious about Charley's dad. My first thought is maybe he's a vampire? Like, maybe a different breed that can procreate with humans or something. (And maybe he's heard about the mess in Vegas. -waggle eyebrows-)

I really hope to see more of this someday.

Gah, I've been saving this to read as a reward for getting through a difficult week and it was SUCH A TREAT.

I really love Jerry the family man. The shifting dynamics between Jerry and Charley from the beginning to the end were so thrilling.

"I could come over there and force you," he reminds him

Haha, oh, poor Jerry, he really can't be all that threatening in this situation.

And the consensual feeding - HOT.

This just opened up a whole universe. These two being forced to team up is such an amazing, brilliant, wonderful idea, and of course you wrote it perfectly.

Now I keep thinking about some time in the future when Jerry saves Charley's life in some particularly sticky situation and then Charley wants to thank him properly...
