Summary: After drinking Eric's blood, Lafayette thanks him.
Eric has very rarely been around humans after they have consumed vampire blood. On the few occasions that he has been unfortunate enough to be in their presence, it has been a meeting that has ended sharply and bluntly. They have all tasted bitter when he drains them.
In this instance, he finds that his temper has not risen yet. Lafayette has stopped bouncing around the room and instead his attention has focused on Eric alone. He had approached him a few minutes ago with a sly smile on his face, his hips swaying as he moved. He had knelt down at Eric's feet, and while Eric's face had remained impassive, he had made no move to push him away. For now, that is enough.
"Gonna say thank you, baby," Lafayette purrs as he pulls the zipper of Eric's trousers down. "Gonna make you feel like a god."
"I am a god," Eric says, because as a vampire he is certainly one of the closest things that this dire little town has ever encountered. Lafayette looks up at him, and after a fractured moment his reaction is to laugh. He looks very different, now that he is freed from Eric's dungeon. He reaches down to brush his fingertips along the smooth skin of Lafayette's jaw. He's shaved; he no longer looks wild in the way that he had the last time that Eric had seen him. This is the Lafayette that the rest of the world sees.
"You're a vampire; that's about as far from any god as you're gonna get," Lafayette says, but his heart doesn't race in fear. Eric thinks that it ought to. No one ought to be confident about throwing an insult out at him and his kind, yet the vampire blood spurs Lafayette on, it seems. He's always known there were several reasons to keep their blood out of human mouths. He is distracted, however, when Lafayette's warm hands ease his trousers down - no underwear - and he looks down to see the twitch of a smile on Lafayette's face. "Now that is godly," Lafayette says.
Eric suspects that he is lying in an attempt to flatter him.
He does not complain.
Lafayette runs his hand over Eric's cock, touching it softly before his grip becomes more firm. Eric watches his face and observes every subtle shift. This must be an intense time for him; no vampire blood he had tasted before would have been as potent or as strong. No one else could have made him feel this good.
He thinks, with the vaguest hint of a smug smile, of the way he will now haunt Lafayette's dreams.
It had not been his primary objective when he had offered his blood, but it is a pleasant side-effect nonetheless. Perhaps it will be useful in the future.
Lafayette wets his lips as he stares at Eric's long dick, and he rises up on his knees. Shifting back and forth, he seems to be attempting to find the most comfortable position for his knees, and Eric is willing to allow him to do so. Once Lafayette's lips descend over his cock, taking it into his mouth, Eric's hand moves to the back of his head to hold him there. The material that covers his head threatens to slip from Eric's grasp; he tightens his hold.
Lafayette makes the quietest noise of complaint, but even to Eric's heightened hearing it sounds hollow. With Eric's hand there to guide him, his head lowers to accept more of Eric's length, going all the way down until Lafayette's lips are cushioned at the base of Eric's cock. He doesn't gag at all, which is a pleasant surprise. His mouth is hot and his suction perfectly sweet. Eric could see the advantages of keeping a human like Lafayette around.
He relaxes the pressure he had put on the back of Lafayette's head, and Lafayette rises up his full length until only the tip remains between his lips. Eric pushes him down again and after that they find a rhythm together; it is half a blowjob and half a case of Eric merely fucking Lafayette's mouth, but it works. Eric has to remind himself not to clench too tightly on Lafayette's head. Human skulls are alarmingly fragile, and he does not think that it would improve his standing in Sookie's eyes if her recently rescued friend were to be discovered with such a fatal injury.
Lafayette is experienced with this, and Eric has little doubt that he might even have more tricks and skills to show him if he would give over control and allow him free reign on his cock. He won't do that; perhaps, next time, he will allow it. For tonight, while Lafayette's mind swirls with the power of Eric's blood, he does not trust him enough. Human minds are fragile, dangerous things.
Lafayette makes a moaning sound around him, and Eric looks down to watch him. The stretch of Lafayette's lips around his cock is a sight he would like to get used to; for a start, it stops him from talking as much.
His hips rock upwards, rising out of his chair and further into Lafayette's mouth. It's almost enough to trigger his gag reflex, but not quite; Eric thinks that such an instinct must have already been worn out of Lafayette by now. He thinks of the last vampire to have provided blood to him and he knows that Lafayette 'thanked' him in a similar way to this. He had known of the transaction previously, but had not deemed it to be important until he had thought that Godric's disappearance might have somehow been linked to Eddie's.
Now he knows this to have been an incorrect assumption.
Pointless.
Under the stimulation of Lafayette's mouth he closes his eyes and with a muffled growl feels his fangs pop out as he comes. It shoots into Lafayette's mouth and Eric's hand holds him down effortlessly. Lafayette swallows everything down and Eric feels the sensation of it on his freshly spent cock. Even when it feels over-sensitive, it makes Eric smile, smugly: he sees no problem with forcing Lafayette to come to terms with his status in comparison to him.
He pulls his hand away from Lafayette's head and Lafayette pulls away, rolling his shoulders. His pupils are still blown and he's still smiling; the terror of Eric's presence hasn't reached Lafayette's heart yet. There is no horrified beat.
"That was very satisfactory," Eric tells him.
Lafayette starts laughing, and he rolls his eyes. Eric hadn't been aware that he had said anything humorous, but he is used to humanity's version of 'jokes' by now. There is little wit required.
Next time will be better; next time Lafayette will not laugh.
Next time, Eric thinks, he may even allow Lafayette to come too.
