Kuchiha apeared in Kon's room, dripping wet and carying a boy he'd seen once before and a grim expesion on her face. He couldn't stop staring at the clothing and the hair and the face, blood and water streaked across it, before she calmly slapped his face and told him to go find her some blankets if he felt like joining them back in reality.
After a few minutes of fumbling, he'd managed to dig out a spare set of her clothing (kept there since she had a tendency to come over and clean for a few furious days if she found too much dust on his books) and a kimono that wasn't much his style but that rather reminded him of the sunset on the Toyko Bay, and the lipstick that the girl who worked at the corner store liked to wear on Fridays, and was kept for purely sentmental reasons, under a pile of atluses and almanacs. She'd put Toki down on his futons and patted him dry in the meantime.
Kon had just started up a pipe for his nerves before she spoke to him again. "You should get those clothes off of him", she said, her voice muffled by the partition she was changing behind.
He sucked at his pipe for a few seconds before blowing a long hard trail of smoke from his mouth, like he was trying to be some sort of dragon. "That's a good idea. How?"
There was nothing but a rustling noise in the room for a few seconds before she came out again, just in a kimono with a few bandages on, no skirt and no sword, and somehow smaller then he'd expect from it. "Fine. Go find me some wood, then."
He shruged at her, and walked out of the room, seemingly ignoring them both in favor of the Edo night.

"I bet he's good with that tounge. He's certainly always got something in his mouth."
"Oh, but you know what they say--there's no way he's straight, since he's not taken!"
"But did you hear about the time he asked Kei out? He's got to like girls part of the time."
On his way out the door of the libary, Kon made sure to drop his most seductive wink and drawld, "Ladies, I'm sure I could acomidate you all if you wanted to find out."
The stuned silence was practically worth the slaps.
