Casey glanced over at her fiancé and sighed as she grabbed the television remote from the table and clicked the baseball game off.
Jason leaned back into the sofa and looked at her. “Do you realize you just turned off the World Series?”
“Do you realize we have a wedding to plan?”
“I thought you were gonna handle all this stuff.”
“I could use some help.”
He sighed. “I’m busy, Case.”
“And I’m not? I work the same hours as you and I’m planning a wedding all by myself.”
He shrugged and rubbed his eyebrow. “You’re the one who wants to get married.”
She put the stack of papers she was looking through on the table and turned to look at him. “And, what? You don’t?”
“Are we really gonna fight about this?”
She rolled her eyes. “Apparently not. I guess I’ll plan the whole thing by myself and you’ll just show up at the church hung over.”
“Works for me.” He kissed the side of her head quickly then turned the TV back on.
