He shrugged. “She seems to.”
She took the rattle from him and shook it in his face. “Do you like it?”
He pulled it away from her, putting it in Judith’s tiny hands. She immediately put it in her mouth.
“Can’t she do something else other than bite on that thing?”
He lifted the little girl into his lap. “Like what?”
“I don’t know. Roll over or play dead or something.”
“My daughter’s not dog.”
“Baby, dog.” She shrugged a little. “What’s the difference?”
