“Who? Joan?”
She rolled her eyes and nodded.
He shrugged. “I don’t like her like that.”
“Sure, dude. That’s why you were hiding your boner with your Chem book while we were studying. Or at least you were trying to.”
His eyes widened as he looked at her. “That uh... I wasn’t....” he trailed off and looked down.
“Relax, dude. I don’t think she noticed. I noticed, both her brothers noticed, her parents might have noticed. But I doubt she did.”
