damn it all to hell
Feel like Ive wasted my day...college work wise. Was planning to go into town, check if overdraft had gone through, get necessary xmas presents for my Dad and the horrendous Jean to take back home with them next weekend for my brother and sister, then get back and get stuck in to some much required college work for next week. But instead.....
.....went to bank, asked about overdraft only to be told that it had been declined(!) Very displeased about that. As soon as I heard my tummy sank with too many feeings of dread concerning much needed xmas presents for people!!! I had made orders online a few nights before, and was worried that the money hadnt come off yet and needed to know exactly how much cash was available to me. The girl was the most useless person in trying to explain things and completely confused me to no end =( Eventually we got there and discovered that indeedy money had been taken off for my purchases, but that the bank had charged me £3 to convert my money from dollars to pounds(!!) Was not amused at all.
Left from there and went to Bassment for some lunch. Needed alcohol to accompany my lunch, by this point I was feeling very unhappy and stressed (again!!!) Got there, place was dead thankfully and ordered my food. Was rather disturbed to find a flyer for an NME night taking place at Moshulu on Tuesdays but then again I suppose stranger things have happened. Left there to get much needed presents, actually did quite well despite the fact that there are far too many idiots in this god forsaken city. Managed to get all necessary pieces for Lain costume ^_^ Left John Lewis only to find horrible drizzly rain hitting my face, and suddenly remembering I had washing left out from this earlier sunny afternoon. Decided to make detour to Threshers (boy how Marsha sounding is that!!) and grabbed a few bottles of Cherry Lambrini to lift my spirits...only thing that makes me stupidly hyper. Got home to the feeling of my arms dropping off with weight of bottles and presents, ran out to garden to get rather soaking washing, then sat down for much needed smoke. Still guzzling down the Lambrini, which is ever so slightly having an effect. Still feeling rather peeved off about things from today.
Tomorrow will hopefully be better. Again going to try and attempt the college work, as well as seeing Pan's Labyrinth in the evening. Most excited about that. As for this evening, Ghost In The Shell and Appleseed watch methinks.
