I have chickenpox!!! =/
I came out in a rash yesterday over pretty much all of my body and discovered two identical lumps behind both my ears in the same places which hurt like hell. Made an appointment with the doctor, earliest appointment being Friday afternoon and left it at that. Missed college again today as the rash had suddenly got worse, got a call from my sister, told her what was wrong with me and she said that she thought it sounded like chickenpox...the thought didnt even cross my mind that it would be anything like that, but it made sense after she told me what the symptoms were.
So I decided to call up NHS 24 who were much more useful than I think my actual doctor would've been (had bad experiences with my medical practice of late) They said that I was to take plenty of fluids, Co-Codamel which Ive been taking for the pain but which also totally sends me to giggly blurred snoozyness, take an anti-histamine (sp) which could even just be a hayfever pill, and use plenty of camomile lotion...and NOT TO ITCH....URGHHHH!!! Its so hard not to itch right now!!!
They also said that Ive to call the doctors tomorrow to let them know my situation but I probably wont be able to go down because Im contagious...problem being with this is that I need a doctors line for both college and work otherwise a)I will be kicked out of college for being off so long without proof of what was wrong with me and b)I'll lose my job for not providing proof of why Ive been off so long. Stressful much?
On top of that I feel totally disgusting due to all these lumps/blotches which have appeared everywhere. I need love....
