Diet

For the last month or so, I've cut all soda, a lot of caffiene, and MSG from my diet. Which basically means no pop, no coffee, and no chips. I slipped up a bit when it was really cold one night and I just needed a cup of coffee. (It was -15, I figured I earned it) And of course, I could never stop eating chocolate completely.

I started eating more fruits and vegetables and less on the microwavable foods like tv dinners. My pain level seems to have dropped. Whether this is a placebo effect or really real, I don't think I care much. It seems to have helped, so I'm going to keep on it. I'm also sleeping better, waking up less than I used to. Before, with all the junk food and caffiene, I would wake up nearly every hour, and now it's only two or three times in a 7-8 hour period. I attribute this mostly to my cats, who like to climb all over me while I sleep.

The other day, I slipped up and I had a bag of chips, which has a lot of MSG in it. The next day, I could barely stand, my hips hurt so much. I think I've learned my lesson.

Does anyone else follow a diet that helps with the pain?
