Kid spacing-- High Needs
I had this as a reply but wanted to put it in as an official post cause this is a big issue for me.
I guess my thought on the high needs thing (whether to wait until Seth is older to have a second kid) is that I want to get through this early stage with both kids ASAP.
Once they are school age then I can go back to work more regularly. Right now, I don't drink cause I'm nursing and my career is sort of on hold (only working 1/2 time, as long as no one is sick). If we drag this out then my career on hold thing is drug out too.
I hate to sound like I'm trying to rush through another baby stage because I really want a new baby, it's just that if we wait until Seth is 4, then we have to start all over and I'm still sitting with my career on hold. Plus it makes a longer time not to have two incomes and we are stretched as it is.
