okay, Seth had another gray diaper today. Now the reason this is significant is that he started having these whene the trouble started. I had mentioned this to the Ped at an earlier visit and she said that a gray diaper indicated a change in the flora of the stomach or intestines.
He had two within a three week period and also had two fevers, no other symptoms. Now, he's just had a third but it has been about three weeks since the last one. I'm thinking now that this might be a cycle type thing-- a parasite? or something. He hasn't had major diahrea which would indicate Giardia perhaps, but there is something going on. He's also still very pale which is odd for a boy with rosy cheeks. He has seemed to be feeling better this week, actually smiling and laughing again, but I'm not convinced he's 100%.
We have another appointment on monday with the Peds and now I'm armed and ready with this gray diaper theory.
