The temperatures have been hovering right around the freezing mark for days now, while precipitation keeps coming down. Here's the result as viewed from my own front door:
It looks pretty, but everything in the city is covered with a thick coat of ice, enough so that you can see light between the branches and the snow on top of the ice, so everything looks bright and light. Walking is dangerous, driving is slightly less so because the streets are well-plowed and deiced regularly.
If this keeps up, I may forgo my usual Christmas dinner in favor of staying indoors.
