Zoiks!
I was poking around the garden today, checking to see if there was anything ripe yet, and I found these:
That's a 8" chef's knife there in front of them. You're supposed to pick this hybrid when they hit 4". Whoops. There were four, but I ate one, it was quite tasty and juicy, even if it was oversized. There's one more (that I found) still on the plant that is close to the same size, but I figured this was enough.
Hmm, I think I need to make tabouleh with extra cuke in it.
