my kitty is sick... i had to take her to the vet this morning before work.... she hasnt been eating much, and she didnt look like she felt well, and she hasnt been as active/talkative as normal. .... and then so, since i had to be at work, i left early and i dropped her off at the vets on the way, ... i felt bad leaving her there by herself... and then, so i spent the entire shift trying to get someone to cover for me tonight, cause i would like to stay here and make sure she's ok. ... but everyone had things to do. and the only person who i thought might work for me changed her mind and said "well, im sure your kitty is ok"
i realize she's not my child. but no, she's not "just a cat." she's my cat. and she's the only pet i've ever had that's been my responsibility.
she's only been really sick once before, and then i had to feed her formula and pedialyte with an eyedropper.
anyway... the vet gave us some antibiotics, and she ate some when she got home... he said she had a fever, so they gave her an injection.. she seems more steady now. last night she couldnt jump onto the counter in the bathroom. she tried twice and fell both times. =/
