Damn you, Capcom.
The new RE5 trailer is amazing. It's also totally spoiler-iffic, but nothing you wouldn't have seen coming if you've been paying attention so far.

...Personally, I kind of liked the idea of the blonde woman being Sherry because it might have tied Leon and Claire's storyline in with Chris's a little more. Capcom's got quite a few going on any more, and I wouldn't mind the little reminder that they do know what they're doing and haven't forgotten anything.
Really, it's no wonder Chris has such terrible PTSD by the time he gets back from Kijuju. Between Jill and Wesker and the INSANITY he and Sheva face...I really don't envy the guy. Also - I totally tear up thinking about Jill being gone forever by the end of this game. I might just lose it myself. D:
And how's this for irony: Over Christmas break, when I came up with that fic idea, I built in a possible scenario that led almost right up to this trailer. *laughs pathetically, headdesks, and drags herself off to write some more*
