This weekend
This weekend is DragonCon, the biggest Sci-Fi convention in this country. And guess who's going? That's right! Me! I am so excited for several reasons (in no particular order):
1. Brent Spiner is going to be there, and I'll have my Gwen costume down there. I get bonus xp if I get his autograph to her, even more if I get it on my breast, and even more if I then get it tattooed. We'll see if I chicken out...
2. Major Victory is going to be there, as well as Feedback.
3. Two out of three of the Lone Gunmen are going to be there, though sadly not the one I had a huge crush on (to those who know me, which one that is would be obvious).
4. I'm going with Spoon, Amanda and Christoph, who are all sorts of fun. Last I heard, Christoph is planning on asking Brent Spiner to sign my breast for me, but we'll se how that goes too.
5. I've never been to an out-of-town Con before.
6. This will be the first vacation with friends I've ever been on as well.
7. *squeal*
8. I get to take lots of pictures, and hopefully, have lots of pictures taken of me.
9. I actually managed to get my costume ready, thanks to Spoon, for getting my makeup ready, and Christoph, who made my hook and knife. I'm going as Blade, from Puppet Master, but a feminine version, so I'll be wearing fishnets and a tiny fedora. I'm so happy about this, because I've been wanting to do it for months.
Anyway, I'm so excited. We leave as soon as I can get to Florissant tonight.
