“Love you, you know that right?” Sam’s smile widened to the point that his jaw ached, and he didn’t care that Gene wouldn’t look him in the eyes, or that he made his declaration while washing pee off his chest.

“Yeah. Love you too.”

Gene nodded and though he tried to hide it, Sam caught the tiny smile that curved his lips. “Right.”
