Jim the Boyfriend and I went to the Nashville Zoo on Tuesday to see the
snow leopard cubs. They are about 15 pounds a piece--about the size of a large, full-grown domestic cat--but have kitten proportions. They act like kittens, too, pouncing on each other, playing with the zookeeper's pants, getting into everything.
They were just too cute. The picture doesn't do them justice, but mine didn't come out so well. (I turned off the flash.) I'll try again on a sunny day.
I don't know where I acquired this weakness for cats. I had always thought I was a "dog person."
