Weekend

Friday was a Company Day - great celebrations, they arranged a whole park to fit in 4000 people. 3 concert stages with people doing dances, various curcus things and the main ome with bands performing. Also people could eat, drink, take part in contests and entertainments (climbing or riding a bike or something else) or have their portrait drawn or fortune told. I did more of the sporty stuff, jumped on a trampoline and took a radio-controlled boat across the lake and back.

They had one of my favourite Russian-rock bands perform, so I was near the stage dancing and singing, and in the evening they had another very popular nowadays celebrity, a man who dresses up like a women on stage. I liked him (her??) quiet a lot, all in all the show was great. We had some fireworks in the end, but nothing can compare to Harbour Festival fireworks!!!

Being in the park with 4000 other people felt like a City ay back in my hometown or like Harbour Festival indeed, as many people and as much fun! Also good to know people, although I was sticking to people I knew, kind of scared to get lost...

Saturday - was up early and not rested at all, went to own and met with girls. We gossipped and had some beers, and gossipped again. It was fun. Saturday night - went to bed very early, got up at midday on Sunday.

Went to a bookstore and got myself books by Somerset Maugham, a book on history of Moscow and history of London. Met with Anna and her Mum, we planned to go to the museum, but it appeared to be closed till August 25. Wandered around our favourite quarter in Moscow and looked at old merchants' houses. They then went to the theatre, I went home and fell asleep. Got up in the evening to read my newly bought books and to plan the week. Didn't want to go to work at all, but was definitely feeling more positive in the morning.

Telephone bills
For the second month on I'm not getting my inter-city and international calls bill delivered to my home address!!! Which means I have to go to one of their offices and get my bill first and then pay. And their offices are not very near to the metro and why should I bother if I am paying my own money for it???
