History was made! Borack Obama is the president of the United States of America..and he just so happens to be a BLACK man =]..( a sexy one at that ).. Michelle Obama is a lucky woman. That happened on tuesday and it was the craziest, most amazing day and night ever. It was the first time i voted in a time where the election was so important and my vote actually counted..it felt great.
...but then after that i went back to reality... I still had school, that came along with stress, and my not just academic issues but social ones as well =/. I am a very social person, and I have always had a lot of friends. However, coming here has really tested my patience. It has been a fun, stressful three months now and I cant wait to get home for thanksgiving break and winter break. I dont think I've ever missed home so much. I feel like though if I am able to make it through my freshman year here at Hampton, that I will go home this summer with a new perspective of live and I will probably have grown a little. They say you learn a lot about yourself in college, and boy have I learned a few things already...but I am willing to change the not so good ways that I have and make them better. I am also going to keep the good ones I have but theres no harm in trying to make those better =]. well im going to continue this entry tomorrow because it is 2:38 am and i have class at 10.. =/ ugh school booo.
