I'm an almost 25 year old woman! There is no reason I should know more about Star Trek then my father, who's watched the show since before I was born!
I mean really, Dad! How could you not remember that Bones was divorced with a kid! Even if all you'd seen is the 2009 movie, they even mentioned it in that! *pouts*
We also argued once cause he didn't remember that Deanna Troi was married to Ryker. He was convinced she married Worf.
Me: DAD. We went to the theater and watched the actual MOVIE where Troi and Ryker got married!
Dad: Well you're crazy. I remember her and Warf being married on the show! In the movie, I figured they just changed things.
Me: That was an alternate reality for one episode! And they could never change things like that in one movie. Trekkies would start a riot.
