(no subject)
I ended up having to take the full week off from work...which sucked but hey, I really need to get better! I got a docs apt. yesterday and yay more antibiotics for me + another steroid inhaler!!! So I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription there was some kind of problem with it so the pharmacist took me aside to show me how the inhaler works...yea he took me into the junky booth, so when I came out two old ladies were so obviously talking about me...the youth of today! I wasnt exactly looking great but im hoping I don't look like a methadone addict...haha, oh well it gave them something to talk about!
My mum stopped by on her lunch break to visit with me which was nice, of course she just had to check my temp. and make sure I was drinking plenty...so cute, I will always be her little girl!!
My day of bordeom was broken by Bran stopping by just after lunch...he stayed till 7 (I got really tired so I made him leave!!)he brought me juice, grapes, cosmo and a Paris travel book to keep me busy how cute, right!? We are going for a day trip to Paris at the end of the month and he wants me to pick out the places I want to visit, we have both been before but I will still be great I love Paris!
We just hung out all day watched some tv but mostly chatted. His mum is really sick with cancer and they have stopped treating her because there is nothing more they can do for her. It is such a sad time, he is an only child and I dunno I just couldn't imagine not having my sisters around me to talk to. His mum is basically getting her affairs organized and being really sensible, I guess keeping busy and making sure she is leaving things in order is how she is coping but it is freaking him out! I guess it just brings home the finality of it, I am glad he feels like he has someone to talk about it with!
I am kinda worried about us though, he has always had a girlfriend up until now, he just told me yesterday that they split up, well the thing is we are super close...but just friends! I know he has feelings for me but Im just hoping he isnt planning on acting on them cause that would really mess things up...I could never imagine being with him, as much as it would make my mum happy, shit I hope things dont get weird! I am newly single, I met someone a few weeks ago and he wants to take me out...yay! but when I told Alex he got really quiet! argh, I guess I will just have to see how things go.
The boy ~ Stefan, he is a high school re and anthropology teacher, 23, tall and cute. He has an apartment about 5mins away..bonus! I met him at Buff Club a few weeks ago, a good sign! he obvs. likes clubbing and Buff is an arty hot spot and the mo. so kudos to him for him being there!!! I like to know that we are going to like the same places...a point of contention with Liam my ex! Im thinking a mid week date would be good, i'll be feeling better and if I like him we can party at the weekend too!!! ;-)
Pretty much everyone is working right now...weekender's! ugh, I think I will wrap up and take my babies to the park for a bit! I love summer, but I love ti right now cause it is getting all cold and...yay for scarf weather!!!
