New laptop bliss and other changes in my life...
Long time since last update... can't claim to not have had the time per se, more like lacking in motivation... where is all of it going, you might ask? Everywhere but here, obviously ;^)
A good friend of mine was in a bad car wreck around two weeks ago. Sending good vibes her way while in her physical presence and not ate up a lot of time and energy, but it feels like time and energy well spent. I hope she breaks out of her recovery roller-coaster soon...
Started investment project which took some maneuvering to get started, but now that it is up and running, I am damn glad I did...
Web business is taking off... two new mid-sized projects in the past week and a half... one pretty typcial brochure-ware type stuff, the other is well, much more interesting, let along alluring.
Lots of time at work, as in 9 out of the last 10 days. Glad I don't have to be at work for the next 5, even though I will still be at the airport tons travelling to LA and Chicago. Former for business trip / pitching a website to a potential client, the latter to visit my mother (who broke her leg two days ago) and to watch the Bears win the Super Bowl from the right city ;^)
Last but not least the me being on TV idea is finally gaining steam again, 9 months or so after it was originally proposed to me. I'm excited about that, and motivated in ways I never thought I would be...
So yeah, I am super busy, and trying hard to keep in mind that there is more to life than making money and "figuring things out"... just got to keep the right people close and that will not be a hard idea to remember...
For now, back to transferring and installing all of the programs and data I will need for the next week on my new machine.... it's going to be a long night, so wish me luck...
