tired
im tired, and bored.
this day has just not been the best so far.
this morning started out crappy. i had a really good sleep, then (through habit or some unknown force) i woke up at 6:45 without an alarm and moaned about going to school again. around ten agonizing minutes later i realized it was saturday and that i dont usually go to school on the weekends. retard. so i fall back asleep after taking an aleeve to ease the pain in my back and continue that rather nice dream i had been having.
8:45- wake up to mom yelling at me to turn my alarm off (which had been going for a good 20 minutes- i set it to 8:25 last night) which i had managed to sleep through so far, and ignored her nagging to wake up and start helping out with the house work.
10:05- finally wake up to mom hollering up the stairs that if i dont get up there will be no mask making or anything today. drag myself out of bed and throw some clothes on, wash my face, go downstairs and eat a pop tart, groan about my back some more.
10:30- haul the vacuums, cleaning stuff, and dusting cloths out to start the cleaning. the downstairs hasnt looked this nice for a long time.
clean like crazy.
12 something- take all three dogs for a walk with my mom. nikki is such a hassle... alot of people say older dogs are the best, i often entirely disagree. sorry nikki....
so thats been the content of my day so far. not exciting. not horrible. ive had way worse.
im waiting for jacob to call me right now so we can work on our masks for favorites. i really wish lorissa was going with us on saturday....
charlie told us his dad was gonna rent a limo yesterday!!!!! how cool is that?! thats even better than driving myself. haha, when i asked my dad if driving would be a possibility, he looked at me, said "thats a good question." and left the room. thanks dad lol. oh well everything seems to have worked out so far.i cant really put into words how excited i am for saturday. and entire night full of awkwardness (its kind of ironic how awkward it is to spell "awkward"), random humor, and dancing. im sooo glad we're going with grace and charlie.
the all-city band is playing today at 7. my brother made 1st chair euphonium- i told him so. he also made 1st chair symphonic at region- but i didnt get to go to the concert because of honor band. oh well, anything for vesuvius heehee. anyways, hes really good. its actually kind of surprising how good he is. hes also about a thousand times better off right now than i was when i was in 8th grade. he has his own horn, and takes lessons alrready. if he doesnt make state in high school ill kill him. haha nah, ill be pretyt mad though.
one thing i want to do right now is go to the beach with my dog (dixie) and just walk for miles. im not sure why, the sound of the waves and the feel of the sand just sounds very appealing to me right now. a little time out of the house would do me some good too.
yesterday was alot of fun. i got to miss 7th period and instead go get ice cream with dennis and jacob (which was a blast) and after 4 went to michaels and hobby lobby to get stuff to make masks. my mom went to go pick up my brother from rehearsal and jacob and i went to barnes and nobles to hang for a while. some creepy guy was in the chair next to our usuall (LOL) so we just walked aroun for most of the time. we went back to my place and watched king arthur. i had forgotten how good it was. geez, i love that movie! haha. jacob failed to work a particularly nasty knot out of my shoulder tho. i wish it would go away =P uuggghhh
well, this was certainly not the most thought-provoking entry ive posted. haha
