The sun set, taking its safety with it. Clouds kept the thick July heat close to the Earth while allowing for the occasional trickle of moonlight to shine off the torn structures and broken windows in the town. It was like a path lit for all the hunters of night - human or not.

The once-thriving town might be mostly deserted during the day, but at night, it's time for the vampires to make this place their own.

The one thing about being a mutant vampire is that there was always a good amount of Jamies running around in the middle of the night. They were always good for a fight, a feast and occasionally if there were enough around they would break out into Michael Jackson's thriller because they thought they were funny.

And so anyone coming into the park this fine evening? Jamie Vampires. Good bit of them.

"LEMONADE!" Yakko yelled from behind the lemonade stand he had set up suddenly. "GET YOUR LEMONADE! QUENCH YOUR THIRST FOR A QUARTER!"

The fact that he was doing this in the middle of the night right near a Jamie Vampire would have seemed insane for anyone else. For Yakko, this was par for the course.

"That's not what the test audiences say," Yakko said, dropping a large stack of papers on the lemonade stand. "They think pointy teeth ruin the jokes. But you do test well with women age 55 and older! Congratulations!"

Balloons dropped from the trees with the number 55 on them.

"What?!" Jamie snapped. "That's impossible! Vampires are in right now! Look at me? I'm trim! I'm hot! I'm a vampire! All the tweenie girls should be throwing their underpants at me!"

"Sorry! The information's right here. See for yourself!" Yakko said, throwing the large stack of paper at Jamie's hands.

Jamie looked at the stack of papers and then stomped his foot creating a vampire duplicate. "Here," he said shoving the papers at the dupe. "You read this."

He then turned back to look at Yakko. "It's all rigged," Jamie told Yakko. "See? The ratings department are just looking at the sets not the book values. Big difference you know."

"You only say that because you haven't seen this yet," Yakko said, holding up a binder. "It'll explain everyth..... aaaaaaaaaaactually, nah. You wouldn't be interested in it."

Jamie's eyebrow shot up and tried to snatch it away from Yakko. "Gimme that!"

Yakko turned the binder toward Jamie and opened it up.

A spring-loaded pie shot off at Jamie's face.

Yakko turned to the camera and smirked. "He said he wanted it."

Pie splattered all over Jamie's face.

"That's it!" he growled as he ran at Yakko. "I'm going to get you! You... You varmint!"

Yakko dashed behind a tree for a moment before returning wearing a suit, cowboy hat, and fake mustache. "Now see here! That's a trademarked catchphrase of my client, one Yosemite Sam!" He held up a briefcase. "In here I have a cease and desist order to keep you from calling anyone else by the 'v'-word."

Jamie was of course befuddled by such a fantastic costume.

"But that's what he is!" Jamie protested. "... At least that's what I think he is."

He paused for a moment. "So is it just that v-word or all v-words?"
