John liked sleeping bags, especially the kind that zipped together. He didn't think these were that kind, though, and when he sat down on one he was really glad he'd packed a pillow.

It wasn't so much that Jaina was avoiding him, it was that he was the most likely to notice something was wrong and try and talk to her about it. So after stowing her gear, she staked out a sleeping bag a little bit away.

After a brief hike through the forest (the trees are huge), everyone arrived at the, well, sad and unfunny ruins of an Ewok village up in the trees.
"A couple of AT-STs came through here and shot the place up," Luke explained, craning his head to look up into the trees. "The bridges are down, and all of the living quarters were burned. The Ewoks who survived have been staying in Bright Tree Village. We're going to give them back their homes, okay?"

The Ewoks planned an elaborate welcoming ceremony. Fires are lit, and there's dancing and singing as they tell the story of how the Rebellion saved them from the Empire, and Luke looked more than a little embarrassed at the prominent role they have given him in the events. The drums the Ewoks are beating on are helmets of Stormtroopers.
There's food (grilled meat, veggies that are good, if strangely colored, and lots of Ewok-brewed beer). Mingle away!
