Akumal Beach Resort - Thursday

The day dawned bright and sunny, another beautiful hot day for the Maya Riviera.

The resort woke up slowly, but soon sounds of laughter and splashing from people at the beach and in the pool echoed through the air.

Peter was all for snorkeling. He went to get fitted and to make sure he had enough sunblock.

Romeo was willing to try it too, and he was in line behind Peter for the fitting and instructions. "Have you done this before?" he asked.

Romeo shook his head. "I grew up on a beach, but I had to go on vacation to try this," he admitted. "But I cannot wait to see what's down there."

He grinned. "This was an amazing choice for our trip."

"Ironically some of my powers are from Isabel," Peter said. "My power is to copy other people's powers."

Romeo blinked at that, rather a lot, and took a moment to gather his wits before answering. "So you're rather like a Xerox machine," he finally said, and gave Peter a once-over as he added, "How did that happen?"
