Calm afternoon, nice weather, fashion magazines, and most importantly, no word exploding. She could live through everything but having yet another world exploding on her. That was simply too traumatizing and much of a hassle for her to stand or repeat anytime near, or far, or at all. On an unrelated note, she felt so lazy that she doubted anything would make her stand, or land, if you took in count she was floating three feet over the sofa she had originally sat on; air was much more of her liking anyway.
Flipping a magazine without really reading it -it would still take Kara some minutes to realize she was going through the pages of what could only be an ancient Popular Mechanics-, Linda Lang was almost starting to wonder if nothing was going to happen. Not even a little mayhem? An evil-doer with an attitude? Giant dinosaurs anywhere? The worst menace she had managed to spot the whole day had been an awfully made coffee, and she didn't even like the stupid thing to begin with.
She would even be happy if Kal showed his face around. Because he was around right? It would be totally unfair if she were the only unfortunate to get dragged into a world of boredom. Colorful boredom, alright, but boring none the less.
[OOC: For the mods, you might notice I had a slight brain spaz and wrote the wrong last name, sorry! In a more general note, anyone interested to waste some time with her?]
