If we do a plotty thing between two ex-pats, can that count as the activity requirement for both characters?

Absolutely! Each alum/ex-pat has to show up somewhere in character once per month. That can be in a scene with someone else, at an event or in a post of their own.

Out of curiosity, how is Veronica getting the info from our links? I ask mainly because a lot of my alumni posts tend to the "Crap, it's the 28th and I still have no post *writes whatever tiny thing is happening*" and the fact that that kind of stuff would end up in the newsletter might creep a couple of my girls out. *g*
