And there was Bel wandering in. "What's going on?" he said. "Someone call a house meeting or something?"

"Fireball it," Anders pleaded. "Just fireball it already."

That didn't go very far toward answering the question, did it?

"Fireball what?" Bel said.

"The demon pretending to be a Christmas decoration," Anders said, looking a little desperate.

"That's not a demon," Bel said. "It's mistletoe."

"It is so not just mistletoe," Anders insisted. "It made me do unspeakable things."

". . . like what?" Bel had to ask.

"Kissing her," Anders said with a disgusted look and a sharp jab of his thumb in Veronica's direction. "And her!" he added, pointing toward Piper.

"You kissed them?" Bel said, still a little slow on the uptake.

Phoebe was at his side in an instant. "The mistletoe is evil."

"How is it evil?" Bel asked, still confused.

"It attacked Veronica and Anders."

"How can mistletoe attack?" Bel asked, wondering if everyone was going crazy and didn't invite him along for the ride.

"It made them kiss, Cole."

[demonbelthazor]

"It made Anders and Veronica kiss?" Bel snorted. "Sure it did. That's just their unresolved sexual tension making itself known, and they're using poor innocent mistletoe as an excuse."
